Privacy Policy

Account information. When you sign in via Manus OAuth, we receive your name and email address. We store these to identify you within the app and to send you notifications related to your pet sitting sessions.

Profile information. Pet owners may add pet profiles (name, breed, age, care instructions, and optional photos). Sitters may add a sitter profile (bio, service area, hourly rate, and a profile photo). This information is stored to enable the core features of the app.

Session data. We store records of pet sitting sessions, including check-in updates, activity logs, photos, and messages exchanged between sitters and clients. This data is used to provide real-time progress tracking and session summaries.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or expiry date. We retain only a Stripe customer ID and subscription ID to manage your premium status.

Push notification tokens. If you grant notification permission, we store a push subscription token to deliver session alerts to your device. You can revoke this permission at any time in your browser settings.

Usage data. We collect anonymised analytics (page views, feature usage) via a self-hosted analytics tool. This data contains no personally identifiable information and is used solely to improve the app.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Paw Trackr service.
• Send in-app and push notifications about your sessions and messages.
• Process payments and manage premium subscriptions via Stripe.
• Generate session summaries and activity reports.
• Respond to support requests and resolve disputes.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We share your data only with the following trusted service providers, and only to the extent necessary to operate the app:

• Manus OAuth — authentication and identity verification.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• Amazon S3 (via Manus) — secure storage of uploaded photos.

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Paw Trackr, our users, or the public.

We retain your account and session data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, payment records).

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.

Paw Trackr uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Anonymous analytics data may be stored in your browser's local storage by our self-hosted analytics tool.

Paw Trackr is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, signed session cookies, and access controls to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
